“My sister’s Registered Nurses made such a difference during her final months.”
Mrs. B, a terminally ill 70-year-old woman with Muscular Sclerosis, had been in and out of hospital for six months. Suffering from chest infections and circulation problems, she was in a rehabilitation unit that was unsuitable for her type of care.
As her health deteriorated, she discussed her wish to stay in her own home with her sister, and they got in touch with us.
After assessing her home and arranging for the appropriate NHS equipment to be supplied, we provided 24-hour care with our highly experienced Registered Nurses. Working closely with her Palliative Community Care Team and various outside units, we feel we made a real difference to the quality and dignity of care that Mrs. B received during the last three months of her life, and gave her family the support they needed at such a difficult time.
My sister was cared for incredibly well, and her Registered Nurses made such a difference during her final months.
