A typical day

Indy’s typical day involves overseeing the operations of Cavendish’s busy bookings team. She manages incoming calls, coordinates daily team tasks, and ensures that both clients and staff receive timely and high-quality support. Whether sourcing suitable carers and nurses or following up on new enquiries, Indy plays a central role in ensuring each client’s journey is seamless and well-communicated.

Professional background

Indy holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Business Information Systems from the University of East London. Her healthcare journey began in 1989 as a student nurse, and since then, she’s held several leadership positions, including Team Leader at BUPA. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Indy returned to the care industry with renewed purpose, committed to connecting individuals with the support they need. Her wide-ranging experience allows her to navigate both the operational and emotional sides of care delivery with confidence.

Personal interests

Outside of work, Indy enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly swimming and going on evening walks. She also loves challenging her mind with Sudoku and Scrabble, and unwinds with her favourite K-dramas and a glass of wine.

Favourite way to unwind

After a long day, Indy’s ideal evening includes curling up with her laptop, watching a good K-drama, and enjoying a glass of wine; pure bliss!
