A typical day
Grace works with the Clinical Services team by setting up and reviewing client care plans and ensuring care documentation is accurate and up to date. Her day involves audits, risk assessments, incident reviews, and close collaboration with carers, nurses, and management to ensure safe and effective care delivery. As she continues to grow in the role, each day brings new learning opportunities and responsibilities.
Professional background
Grace graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996 and has built an extensive career across both NHS and private healthcare settings. She began her nursing journey caring for her own grandfather with advanced cancer, which shaped her compassionate approach to care. Her career includes roles in outpatient services, progressing from Registered Nurse to Senior Sister and later Clinical Services Manager. She has completed leadership and management qualifications with distinction, including CMI Level 3 in Management and Leadership, and undertook her mentorship training at King’s College London. In recognition of her compassionate nursing, she received the international DAISY Award in 2019

Outside of work, Grace loves travelling, reading, dancing, and singing with complete joy and freedom. She also enjoys experimenting with different tea concoctions and soup recipes, blending creativity with comfort

Her favourite way to unwind is going on long walks, wandering through streets and markets, discovering local history, and exploring new places at her own pace.
