Meet Zahrah…
A typical day
Zahrah’s days are fast-paced and varied. She juggles everything from operations and compliance to marketing and IT. Whether it’s supporting training, coordinating staff interviews, managing enquiries, or helping nurse managers with IT or administrative tasks, Zahrah is at the centre of Cavendish Homecare’s behind-the-scenes activity. She also creates engaging marketing content such as blogs, case studies, and the portfolio, ensuring everything reflects the high standards Cavendish Homecare is known for.
Professional background
Zahrah holds a BSc in International Tourism Management and an MSc in Management, with modules in business operations and marketing. Though her entry into healthcare started as a part-time role during university, her passion for the work quickly grew. Prior to Cavendish Homecare, she worked for over three years as a Youth Worker at an inclusive charity supporting children to young adults with additional needs. She has completed a wide range of training to support her work, including MAPA (management of actual or potential aggression), PEG feeding, behaviour support, gastrostomy care, medication administration, fire safety and moving and handling (using hoists and slide sheets).

Zahrah is deeply motivated by knowing that her work, though often behind-the-scenes, helps make a tangible difference in clients’ and families’ lives. She values being part of a team that is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care. For her, it’s fulfilling to see her contributions come to life, whether through a smooth training session, a successful portfolio presentation, or supporting the operations that keep everything running.
What she enjoys most?
Zahrah enjoys the perfect mix of routine and variety. Some days are filled with structured, repetitive tasks, while others bring new challenges like designing a marketing visual or helping troubleshoot a system. She especially finds satisfaction in completing tasks that may not be seen by many but have a big impact on Cavendish Homecare’s success and client satisfaction.
Personal interests
Outside of work, Zahrah is an adventurer at heart. She enjoys reading, running, travelling (with a goal to visit as many UNESCO World Heritage Sites as possible), and going to concerts whenever she can. She’s a big fan of Formula 1, loves discovering new cuisines and restaurants, and has a passion for binge-watching a range of shows, from light chick flicks to gripping crime dramas. A good lie-in is always welcome, too.
Favourite way to unwind
After a long day or week, Zahrah recharges by watching YouTube or a favourite series, catching up with friends, enjoying a great meal, going for a run, or simply getting a good night’s sleep.
Fun fact
Zahrah dreams of completing all the major marathons. Her love for F1 is no joke, and she proudly follows the season like a true motorsports enthusiast.
