“I just wanted to thank the team at Cavendish for your contribution to making the last very grim, few weeks of my husbands life as bearable as they could be. Families in our circumstances agonise over whether they have chosen the right agency or approach. Cavendish proved to be very kind and caring.”
“I would like to thank you and thank the entire team for the great service and flexibility we got during this period. We will definitely contact you if we require Registered Nurses in the future!”
“Our family are so pleased that we found your company. Your Registered Nurses’ knowledge, experience, professionalism and most importantly, compassion made these last few hours so much easier.”
“Thank you. The Registered Nurses made all the difference. I just regret that no one told me to try your agency earlier. But at least they were there at the crucial time and I am so grateful. I was so impressed by the combination of skill and love the agency showed. I am so, so grateful that your Registered Nurses helped him to feel comfortable, it was a comfort to me.”
“Thank you very much for the professional service provided to my Father. We would be happy to recommend your company and services.”
“Thank you for your kind words, your care and that of your team has been truly extraordinary. We are very grateful.”
“Your Registered Nurses are absolutely wonderful.”
“My family and I would like you to know how invaluable it was for us to have such excellent 24-hour nursing care. Both Ann and Marilyn are highly professional Registered Nurses. Their care for our mother was exemplary.”
After undergoing extensive chemotherapy, 45-year-old Mrs. C, a mother of three, was given the news that her tumours hadn’t shrunk and her cancer treatment wasn’t working. Deciding to halt further treatment and go home, she and her husband got in touch with us.
We met Mrs. C in hospital to discuss discharge planning with her and the Macmillan Nurse. She was understandably upset and concerned about her family, and we reassured her that we would deal with the situation holistically, and support her various family members.
As well as carrying out a full Home Risk Assessment and arranging for the right equipment to be delivered, one of our Registered Nurses also escorted her home in the ambulance. Providing 24-hour Care, our Registered Nurses and Carers worked alongside her Macmillan team and gave specialist pain management and continuity of care during her final weeks.
Thanked by her family and friends, our staff attended her funeral and are still in contact with her family.
“Thank you for the support you gave, you allowed us to share real quality time with her.”
