For someone accustomed to getting on with things herself, this was not only a physical setback but a deeply unsettling one.

Within 12 hours of Martha’s discharge from hospital, a thorough assessment of her situation and home environment was carried out, ensuring that a tailored care plan could be put in place immediately. Registered nurses were arranged to care for Martha both day and night, providing round-the-clock clinical support during the most critical stage of her recovery.
